NEGATIVES
To form the negative in a sentence, place no before the verb:
We don’t want to go to the museum today No queremos ir al museo hoy
I don’t know what the time is No sé que hora es
Contrary to English, you can use double negatives in Spanish:
I don’t have anything (lit: I don’t have anything)
No tengo nada

Dates are expressed by cardinal numbers, except for the first day of the month which uses the ordinal number: 1st of April.
